Teknik Memotong Pendek Rambut untuk Pria
Memotong rambut adalah sebuah bentuk seni dan tidak cara yang benar atau salah untuk mencapai hasil potong rambut yang bagus. Masing-masing pendekatan akan bervariasi oleh penata.
Tetapi ada beberapa prinsip dasar bahwa semua tukang cukur dan penata dapat menerapkan untuk meningkatkan kecepatan dan kualitas ketika memotong rambut laki-laki.

Basah atau kering?
Pemotongan dengan menggunakan clipper hampir selalu dilakukan yang terbaik di rambut kering. Ketika rambut basah, akan sulit untuk bisa melihat garis dan sulit untuk tahu persis bagaimana rambut akan berbaring ketika dipotong. Rambut harus basah untuk “most shear” atau pisau cukur.
Memeriksa kembali

Teknik shear-point digunakan untuk memotong ujung-ujung rambut pada sudut (atau bahkan potongan potongan-potongan bergantian) untuk menambahkan tekstur. Lakukan teknik ini hanya setelah tangan-instruksi dari instruktur yang berkualifikasi.
Finishing
Banyak penata akan menghabiskan banyak waktu memastikan hasil potong rambutnya rata dan sempurna. Potongan rambut yang bagus bisa hancur oleh finishing yang jelek. Sebaliknya, potongan rambut yang buruk juga dapat dibuat keren dengan finishing yang baik).
Hal ini penting untuk memastikan semua garis (lengkung di sekitar telinga dan leher) yang bersih dan rapi. Sebagian besar potongan rambut juga akan mendapat keuntungan dari lentik sedikit atau beveling di sekitar tepi bawah. Periksa untuk memastikan poni lurus juga.
